Architecture Practice
The principal is licensed to practice architecture only in the States of New York and Washington. For projects or design work outside these jurisdictions, the principal acts solely as a “Designer.” The principal has never served as Architect of Record outside these jurisdictions and, where applicable, works under the supervision of a licensed Architect of Record in full compliance with local regulations. Use of the title “Architect” is governed by applicable laws in each jurisdiction.

Artistic and Photographic Work
In addition to architectural practice, the principal maintains an art practice that includes drawing buildings, sketching public spaces, photographing structures, and producing architectural photography. These works are undertaken solely as artistic, illustrative, or documentary activities and do not constitute professional architectural services. Drawings, sketches, and photographs should not be relied upon for design, construction, or regulatory decisions regarding the buildings or locations depicted.

Writing, Teaching, and Critique
The principal engages in writing about architecture, publishing commentary and critique, and teaching design and architecture. These activities are conducted solely as scholarly, educational, or editorial work and do not constitute professional architectural services. Opinions, analyses, or critiques presented in publications, lectures, or teaching contexts should not be relied upon for the design, construction, or regulatory compliance of any building or project.

Portfolio Disclaimer – Prior Work
Projects listed from prior employment or collaborations reflect design work performed under the supervision of a licensed Architect of Record. The principal of this studio was not the licensed architect on those projects unless explicitly stated. References to involvement indicate design contributions only and do not imply licensure, responsibility as Architect of Record, or authority to sign or seal construction documents.
