Speaking on the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) | AIASF

I’m back with AIASF this October to lead two new ARE Prep sessions. This round tackles two core exam divisions: Project Planning & Design (PPD) and Project Development & Documentation (PDD).

The path to licensure is one of the most significant chapters in an architect’s professional development. Having guided candidates through AIASF workshops over the years, my objective remains straightforward: demystify the exam material. We are setting aside generic study rules to focus entirely on structural logic, code fundamentals, and the practical frameworks needed to execute on exam day.

Part 1: Virtual Lesson

  • When: Monday, October 5, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM PDT

  • Where: Online (Virtual Session)

  • Format: Deep-dive technical presentation, code strategies, and interactive Q&A. Includes access to on-demand recording.

Part 2: In-Person Practice Exam & Office Hours

  • When: Thursday, October 8, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM PDT

  • Where: Center for Architecture + Design, 140 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA

  • Format: In-person practice exam working session, line-by-line problem breakdown, and direct office hours.
